6 ways how you can help Japanese brothers and sisters in actual

As we all know that earthquake and Tsunami was passed in few minutes but taken away our brothers and sisters of Japan. Other countries also affected due to the same reason directly or indirectly.

Even though Japan government started working instantly and we all are praying from them all across the world. I feel our people in Japan need help and all across world people started helping them with prayers. It’s time to stay with them for each and every problems they are facing as now generation is always thinking about ONE WORLD.

Let me share 6 ways you as common man can support Japan:  [Thanks Aik Heng Yap for sharing information and he is my friend and in Tokyo right now.]

1)      The Red Cross

Red Cross in Japan already started supporting and already helped in 11 national disaster response teams to the crisis. You can help them by donating money online or via text message. Simply test REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 form your phone. [You will receive prompted to confirm again with YES]

2)      Shelter Box

Its UK based organization and has 18 international affiliates started working on raising fun for this tragedy of Japan. Shelterbox provides assistance to Japn by delivering

-          Large utility boxes that contain a

o   shelter

o   Other emergency relief tools.

3)      International Medical Corps

Its non-profit organization and to donate for emergency response effort fund, go to their website and select the amount you want to donate.

[Make sure to note if you want your donation to be ‘recurring gift’ for future relief efforts.]

4)      Globalgiving.org

This organization launched Japan earthquake and Tsunami relief fund in association with lot many other organizations like International medical corps, DC which will give aid to other emergency services working on actual level at ground. They accept donations online and their goal to raise fund of 850,000 $.  [they received 30% till 13/3/2011]

5)      Convey of Hope

It’s also non-profit organization and focused on disaster relief efforts and you donate them online as well as you can sent message to TSUNAMI to 50555. [You will receive prompted to confirm again with YES]

6)      Salvation Army

Salvation Army’s Japan branch is working in Tokyo to provide shelter to standard commuters. Team is already in Sendai and they have office in Hawaii to help. You can also support them by sending text to JAPAN or QUAKE to 80888 to make a donation of $10. Facebook page

Must read if you think you do what you believe, is it true or not?

After spending 23 years of my life in this world I realize that being truthful with YOU is very difficult.

We use to make our heart fool by convincing ourselves in small things. Not taking ourselves seriously in being truthful will lead you to unsaid dissatisfaction of life.

I come to conclusion that reason behind “not being truthful with YOU” is people around us. They never said positive and supportive things in whatever we do.

Let me explain by one example that how we take other’s opinion into consideration and how idiot we are!

Story of ‘FATHER’, his 10 Years old ‘SON’ & their ‘SICK HORSE’

Father, his 10 years old son & Sick horse were travelling from one village to another.

Case -1 (Father & son seating on horse): father & son both were travelling on horse with their luggage. Two intelligent guys were met across and they were talking look at these cruel father and son, they know horse is seek still they are sitting on them and travelling.

Father & son heard that and father told his son that I am walking you seat on horse.

Case -2 (Only son seating on horse): Just after that other tow intelligent guys were met across and they looked at the son and told ‘Look at you, you are so young and still your father is walking and you are seating on horse, shame on you. Son realized that it’s true so son told his father that ‘you seat on horse I will walk’. They did the same

Case -3 (Only father seating on horse): Just after that other tow intelligent guys were met across and they looked at the FATHER and told ‘Look at you, your small child is walking and you are seating on horse, disgusting. Father realized and he also started walking with his son.

Case -4 (No one is seating on horse): Just after that other tow intelligent guys were met across and they looked at father and son look at these foolish people they have horse still both are walking, these 3 idiots are out of their mind.

No matter whatever you do people will have their own opinion to convince us that we are wrong. Leave your life with your own rules, your passion, your determination, your thinking... in other words if you pardon my language then TO HELL WITH THE PEOPLE AROUND.

She shared views about her initiative : SAFER INDIA – to support people if they have any issues with Police, specifically related to their compalin.

Transparency is always possible, and Dr Kiran Bedi is perfect example of it.

She shared concept of “6 Cs” for transparency. When you have all 6 Cs with you then you will be the living legend. These ‘6 Cs’ are:

1) Competency: When you competency within then things will automatically become transparent, people will start sharing. I also believe that always respect Experience. (22 years guy can have more experience than 55 years working professional)

2) Connected: unless and until you are not connected at grass root then transparency will not come. Stay connected at each and every level. Connect with roots and braches both.

a. Example she shared about Delhi, when she was only DPS (Currently there are 9), traffic in Delhi and has to manage 19 stadiums for sports event and no technology available at that time, only thing you have is Human resource.

b. She managed to connect with everyone and that’s why she was able to connect people to maintain discipline, to facilitate foreign delegates in Delhi at that time.

3) Courage: thing is the word in which we were best and some extent we are now also. But it’s missing in India these days. Indians become nation of afraid people. These are thing which are needed in life to be transparent with your self and in public

a. Courage to say

b. Courage to speak

c. Courage to use right words

d. Courage to put your views to others

e. Courage to speak truth

f. Courage to serve in ‘whiteful’ way & so on…

4) Cosmology: start linking your self from world. You are not from your cast, your state, community, religion, n so on but you are India, you are part of world. It will bring transparency in life

5) Care (& compassion): this is the thing most needed, if you care for the initiative, for the cause for the reason then anything can be done.

a. Don’t do until you feel

b. Don’t do until you care

c. Don’t do until you have passion

Best example from her life is Tihar Jail: She cared for the people who were there in Tihar Jail, she feel positive about them and take an initiative to make their life beautiful. Must read about the story of Tihar Jail in her book, I will read full story very soon.

She developed “Gandhium model of Policing”

6) Commitment: Stay committed to what ever you believe and what ever you do

“Biggest threat of India is CORRUPTION”

When will corruption fall if it will fall down? (Que asked by Dr Kiran Bedi to Sri Sri Ravisankar, he replied

when

a. Unless politics spiritualize

b. Unless business socialize

c. Unless religion Secularizes (I was unable to hear this word.. Sorry!! )

Reason of corruption:

o We only care about GDP but not about governance

o Reason of growth is great success of private sector and great of decay in governance

o Politics and bureaucracy are in large mindset, and hierarchy is problem. People are not reaching at grass root. So transparency is not coming.

o Due to increase in population

§ We accept inefficiency

§ We accept corruption

§ So we promote corruption

o Lack of social ownership

o No penalty of corruption

· We need to transform administration into management. Everyone should know about Project Management and everyone will become project manager of their department.

· Salary should be paid on performance basis.

SOLUTION AT BASIC LEVEL IS “BE UNITED TO SOLVE ANY ISSUE AT ANY LEVEL”

Dont jump into conclusion too quickly

Once an old man n his 24yrs old son were goin in d train....

The son sat next to windw n started looking out n dn suddnly shouted ,,

"Dad,look d trees r going behind" and in reply "dad just smiled"

Young couple sitting near them looked at 24 years old son behaviour very childish,with pity

Suddenly d son again screamed "Dad look the clouds are running with us", after few min couple couldn't resist that and said to that man, WHY DONT YOU TAKE YOUR SON TO GOOD DOCTOR FOR HIS CHILDISH BEHAVIOUR AT THE AGE OF 24...

young guy's DAD just smiled n said "THAT WHAT WE DID"

Actually we are just coming from the hospital

My son was BLIND since birth. Today only He is watching world from his OWN eyes First time....!!!

Couple: speechless...!!

Life is all about Perspectives

Train with passengers (obvious!) is on the way. Passengers inside are sleeping, taking food, reading news paper, seating silently - overall peaceful atmosphere. Next stop came, father with their 3 children steps inside and suddenly behavior of children spoiled the peaceful atmosphere. Instead of controlling children father went to his seat, closed his eyes as nothing is happening.

Beautiful lady to Father, “Can you tell your children to shut their mouth and seat silently?” Father suddenly realizes the disturbance created by children and told lady, “Just before an hour my wife DIED and I don’t know what’s going around me. Sorry!!”

Everyone speechless

In the train there were 3 kinds of people.
1) Who now know the reason and perception change, sympathy for the man instead of bad words! They don’t feel noise now.

2) Who still don’t know the reason and telling that how irresponsible this father is!

3) Who earlier realized from the expression that something wrong happen to this person!

LIFE IS ALL ABOUT “PERSPECTIVE”, NOW YOU DECIDE IN WHICH CATEGORY YOU ARE. THIS STORY IS VERY CLOSE TO MY HEART AND CHANGED MY LIFE A LOT.
